A David O. Russell movie is set to film in town this week after selectmen approved a request to film at a couple locations along Rte. 135.

Josh Youman, assistant location manager for White Dog Productions, said crews for the film, currently untitled, will be in Natick between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. Thursday.

It will use Reliable Cleaners at 214 West Central St., a closed florist shop next door and a strip mall at 179 West Central St., Youman said.

apparently someone set up a tent in the middle of boston harbor last night

The guy looks homeless, but obviously I can’t confirm that. He’s older, and bearded. That equals homeless to me. Coast Guard has pulled up to his tent and is making him take it down. They are having heated exchange. He looks like he’s refusing to leave. Shit’s getting real!

The guy just keeps waving the Coast Guard off, he appears to be telling them to leave him the fuck alone. That’s a pretty big gun on the front of that boat.

Probably a fire hose, not a gun. Still…

It IS a gun, a .50 caliber machine gun to be exact. 

Police have arrived. He’s surrounded!

Wow, incredible maneuver. This guy can canoe! Police and Coast Guard flummoxed as he makes his getaway.

Sad news, everyone. Looks like the sea squatter has been detained. It took three different agencies, the police, the Coast Guard and the environmental police. Not entirely sure why the last one was needed. There was a helicopter, but I don’t think it was related to this operation. The police boat in the end picked him up and his canoe. Looks like this story is over. Or is it?
